my roommate and i are finishing off our jug of carlo rossi right now. we have very little food left in our apartment. and it's pointless to buy more since we both leave tomorrow.


yesterday i went to Philly Cupcake and got delicious cupcakes with catherine!!! so delicious.

why do computers hate me so much? specifically mine, which i named tessa. she turns firefox off on me like it's her job and also constantly growls at me! not nice tessa. i found out i have another paper to write, actually it was due last week. not sure how i missed that one, oh well!

my favorite coffee shop across the street is closed for the week. go figure -> that's where i am the most productive. the garbage man that usually comes at 3am right outside my window and wakes me up every time, has been coming at 9 in the morning instead which is much more reasonable and i am far less upset.

i saw the army man again yesterday. two times, in two days. it's creeping me out.

it's gorgeous out today and st. patrick's day and i have to do work all day...boooooo!

Rain, please fucking go away

the rain is only making our apartment colder. yesterday i could see my breath in here. and right now i'm wrapped up in my bed because it's so cold. tomorrow it's supposed to be warmer, like 65 actually which will hopefully warm up the house.

i had my last class for the quarter today and gave a bitchin' presentation and the professor brought in cupcakes. i definitely ate two, with nutella frosting. i went to starbucks and this guy in the army bought me coffee and a cookie! he was a colonel or an admiral, i can't remember. but he was definitely important. he proceeded to chat me up for a good hour. i was kind of nervous, i didn't want to say something that might offend the military and still bash the war. i held my tongue like a fox. regardless, i swiftly changed the topic to autism and took control of the conversation. he even said, that if i'm ever in someplace where there's an army base, to give him a call for a job working at the daycare on base. completely random. and i do not know his name. clearly he thought i would remember that!

so after all of the hullabaloo, i’m still in philly and staying in school and hoping to find a job. a full time job. i really want to work for this environmental advocacy company. but for some reason i’m being a super big chicken about calling them back. i’m not usually a chicken…

i went to trader joe’s today and bought “frying cheese” which is the most delicious. it comes in a block and you cut it up and put it in the frying pan for about 4 minutes and cha-ching. you got yourself the best snack in the world. anyway, if you couldn’t tell, i am more than pumped for that.

for the last week, a bunch of my friends came to visit and we basically had a huge slumber party every night. it was absolutely perfect! except now i got me some work to do. thanks guys for leaving me with all this crap at the last minute. lol just kidding, i’m so so so so so happy you all came here

i cannot wait until it is nicer out all the time. this week had two nice days and the weather was teasing me. now it’s rainy and gross and cold. and we turned our heat off because we are broke. and so if you are coming over – wear a sweatshirt and bring a blanket!
